Adrian holds a PhD in plant physiology from the University of Barcelona and is an expert in the use of remote sensing tools for precision agriculture applications and crop phenotyping. He is currently working in plant breeding as a researcher in the extensive crops program at the Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries (IRTA), an agricultural research institute of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
